Exploring the Mark, works by Marvin R. Gould opening Saturday, June 28th, 7:00pm

Capitol Street Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition featuring Marvin Gould. Marvin’s exhibit explores the expressive nature of making marks on paper.   Marvin has been practicing art and music for over 50 years. Because of his mother’s professional music career he was playing the guitar at the age of 9. Because of his Dad’s engineering career, he was fascinated by mark making. Both influences led to serious practice in drawing and music. Marvin has professional experience as a draftsman, sign maker, billboard designer and painter, graphic designer, art faculty and professional musician. His work is inspired by the imposition of architecture onto the natural landscape.
